Overlay: Add time next to date

Post by NRGDEAD »

Hi Harry,

this time it's a minor tweak: add the current (GPS-?) time (maybe even with seconds) next to the date in overlays.

Since many people upload their HLT videos to Youtube and the such, it would be a bit easier to find videos where you can see yourself driving from the perspective of another car. ;-)
Instead of fast forwarding in 10-30 second steps, one could easily see if there is even a chance to see oneself. ;-)
After my last session, I looked at many other videos of that day, and found one clip that luckily even matched one of the laps that I recorded myself.

Cheers
Daniel

Also great would be air temperature, I think OBD2 offers that. Or some other temperature from the outside.
But as mentioned above, the time of the recording with seconds would be great. :-)

I have added that to my list. OBD2 delivers intake air temperature. I have no idea if this is mainly the outside air temperature or not... Maybe you want to check IAT from one of your recordings. IAT is exported to CSV and HLPTRL.

It's moving from 30 Degrees (Celsius I strongly assume) to 21 at the end, which seems somewhat plausible. I don't remember if I came from the parking spot or from a previous lap on this one. But either way, It's somewhat interesting data. :-)

Another thing I would love to see is an indicator for acceleration up and down. But most important is the clock. ;-)
