Does it work in general, i.e. do you get OBD data and an update rate shown in Sensor List?

Yes, it generally works. But independent of car - it loses connection from time to time and I need to restart HLT. Even w/o XGPS, thus only one bluetooth device used. Never had that effect before with earlier releases...

I doubt it is the version, the connection area has not been touched between 17.5 and 18. Wireless connections are notorious unstable because they can be disturbed easily (and invisible). Even when testing here in my office I find myself frequently searching for bugs that are actually just another phone connecting to the GPS or OBD accessory I thought would be available. In cars, audio systems are a frequent source of issues. And certainly other smartphones... To test, just open the Bluetooth preferences of your iPhone and check the devices reported. Mostly the list is longer than expected.

Finally, disconnects can happen on different levels. The above addresses the physical level, the other area is the application level. To check if there is an issue on this level, you may check this post: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=1500 In case you want to log the dialog, please setup logging as described and log until the connection drops. Wait some seconds and stop the log afterwards.

After upgrading from iPhone 4S to 5S I seem to have no more issues with missing data or lost BT Connections.

Before, I had frequent data missing in log files, either entire records with up to 4 samples missing (at 5Hz) or missing OBD Data in some samples.

Just did a test run (100-250kph logging) w/ iPhone 5S and 3 BT Connections (Handsfree Dension, BT1, XGPS150) - works perfectly now again, like some while ago before I experienced issues with my 4S.

Thus, it seems to fix the performance issue I assumed...
