Stop or Cancel button on Android version

Post by futurz »

Possible dupe post.
Just started using Laptimer and today upgraded to Petrolhead/Android version.
Is there a Stop button while recording that I can use to stop the session without closing down the program? I like to do a couple of cool down laps and don't need to record those.
Right now, I have to close the entire program in order to get it to stop recording. Seems like there should be an easier way.
Thanks

In case you record manually, you will see a "Stop" button all of the time. In case you use automatic recording (triggered) - which is the default - you should see a "Cancel" button instead. Opposed to Stop - which stores a regular lap up to the position you stopped, Cancel will purge the lap currently active an purge it. So the typical pattern for circuits having a standard / joint Start/Finish line is you pass the line for a last valid lap and enter the cool down lap leading you back to the pits. Pressing Cancel during this cool down lap (or in the pits) will purge recordings from the cool down lap but will keep your last valid lap.

Thanks for the response. I wasn't sure what the cancel button would do since it was my first time using.
