Restore laps from CSV?

Post by peng007 »

Hello Harry,

is there a possibility to restore laps back to the iPhone by loading the CSV data? Maybe a workaround?
In the worst case I also do have the iExplorer.

The problem was, that I had to reset my iPhone and now all the data are gone, but I still have the CSV.

The CSV exports include all the data required to recreate .hlptrl files - which is the only format LapTimer imports. However, a translation is not available from my side and would require some script programming...

Thanks Harry, I think, with some study I should be able to generate them.
Thank you for the Info.

Hello Harry,

I created a .hlptr file, which looks the same way as in the other posts. Unfortunately I always get an error while loading.
"Import der Darei ... abgebrochen". Is there a way to debug, to see, what is wrong?
The only difference to the example I see is, that I removed the intemediates and the intermediates tags. Or are the tags necessary?

No, they are not necessary. Please send the file to Harry@gps-laptimer.de and I will check.

Hello Harry,

thank you very much for your quick help.
All my laps are loaded and look good.

For the others : Please take care that the tags in the hlptrl file need to be case sensitive.

I've got the same problem. Can I send you the hlptrz too?

Edit:
I think I know the problem. While beta testing we upgrade to grand prix. On new mobile it installs petrol head only. Is there a solution?

Cheers Marcel

LapTimer has no CSV import so far. Information is complete, so a technical conversion to .hlptrl will be possible - but it requires scripting.
