Hi there!
I updated to iOS6 last week and will be in Anneau du Rhin in 2 weeks. A moment ago I just noticed, that the track isn't available within Apple's new map app. It was in google maps, though.
I'm supposing, that since everything works with gps-coordinates this shouldn't have an impact. But I just want to be sure, since I got my XGPS150 today and I'm so excited to be on the track again with this great app
I hope it'll work?
Laptimer and Apple maps
Re: Laptimer and Apple maps
Yes, it will work. Maps are used for a nice display only. Please note I receive reports for Anneau from time to time mentioning difficulties with trigger detection (no detection or miss detection). So in case you run into problems, change the detection corridor setting to Wide or Narrow.

Perfect and thanks! I will keep that in mind
Re: Laptimer and Apple maps
Back from the track and in the end I got it working perfectly.
I indeed had problems with the detection, because the start/finish line at Anneau is very close to the track in the opposing direction. So it ends up detecting a start/finish-line crossing where I was on the opposing side.
What I did was pretty simple: Setting the detection back to normal and placing my XDual-sensor on the left side of the car. Compared to the passenger's side this gains a meter and then the detection was working perfectly!
