Standing Go Trigger

Post by Nevtiger »

I use Lap Timer for UK Hillclimbs and Sprints.

The system works well as log as i get the trigger points in the correct place.

However, the Start of each run is slightly missed as it takes the system i small while to acknowledge i have started accelerating.

Is it possible to have the system record the - for example - 5 seconds prior to the actual start?

Cheers

Hello,

Please have a look into this FAQ: viewtopic.php?f=39&t=5652
In case it doesn't give an answer, please let me know.

Harry,

Yes and No.

Yes i have confidence that the times etc recorded are accurate.

No: What i was referring to, badly in hindsight, is the video recording. I.e. is it possible for the system to include the 5 seconds prior to Launch?

Thank you for the answers.

Cheers

O.k., video. For position triggers, one can enable manual timing in LapTimer's Settings, start a manual recording (including video) and drive. Passing a trigger will stop the manual recording and start an automatic recording. For standing go triggers, this will not work because LapTimer will not go into charged state.
