In order to have a full output I would need to add info about the differential and the gear rations of my car. Do you have any suggestion where I can find such data? I've been searching but without success. My car is a Renault Megane 4 1.6 dCi 130 CV.

In case you can't find it using Google, I'd try the driver manual or your dealer?

Hi, good start is google. It´s good to know your engine code (for example old 1.9TDI from VW had ALH, AHF, ASV, ASZ etc.) and transmission code. Transmission code could be a little bit harder. Maybe it´s visible on transmission itself.

Internet was of no help and I exclude that a Renault car dealer has such data. Probably only the manifacturer has it, but I don't think they will ever reply to me.

That's usually not too dramatic to find. Try this one: https://www.cars-data.com/en/renault-me ... 39230/tech. Not exactly your model but Renault will not have dozens of gear boxes.

So try another Megane definition with the same gear box. In case you are not sure, try the one looking most promising. Same generation and same speed range will be a good indicator for selection. Once entered, see if the gear calculation works. LapTimer uses a best fit method, so it does not need to match exactly. Keep in mind gear calculation works only while the clutch is not engaged.

Well I know, sometimes it´s really hard ;) I've searched data for my gearbox for few months, and I finally found it last week. For example CUPRA have 5 different gearboxes depends on which model you have.

Ferrarista: do you have gearbox code?
