Force a Join of Lap Segments

I had a track day where LapTimer kept splitting my laps into 2-5 pieces. Don't know why, GPS signal quality was very good. Maybe because I was running iOS screen recording to capture the LapTimer screen for later inclusion in a video made via RaceRender?

Anyway, I've joined all the segments but there were two instances where there's no "join button" presented in LapTimer (v23.0.11 Grand Prix, iOS 13.5.1 and iOS 12.4.6).

Q1: Is there any way I can force these two segments to join (I'm not afraid of some editing)?

Q2: Is there any reason that running iOS screen recording should interfere with LapTimer's ability to do data-capture ... LapTimer's only connection was to a RaceCapture Pro MK3 via WiFi and was not doing any video recording except the screen recording (iPhone 6, iOS 12.4.6)?

Other than that, I hope you are having or have just had a great weekend.

The join function is made available only in case the end of one “lap” matches the start of the next one.

You can probably force a join by exporting all fragments to a logger format (VBO or GPX) and Import this file afterwards. When importing a log file format, LapTimer will apply its lap detection again.

Other than resource shortage, a screen recording should not break operation. Without a look into the fragmented recordings, I can’t say what the reason for the splits is. Maybe you can export the fragments to KML and HLPTRL and send them?
