Harry's GPS Suite Forum

I race motorcycles and am hoping to use the GPS from the GoPro Hero 7 Black edition and my iPhone inside my suit.

Because the GoPro can work off of WiFi and BT, would the GPS work from the GoPro, rather than using my iPhone inside my jacket.

The GPS is very spotty when inside my suit.

The GPS is unusable in your pocket. You need to mount it outside like shown in illustration #4 in LapTimer's Quick Reference. Matching mounts are shown on www.gps-laptimer.de/compatibility/ios. The HERO's GPS is not supported.
