[MOVED TO Using LapTimer]

I used the video feature for the first time this weekend and was happy with everything I saw on my phone but when I transferred the video to my computer there was no longer the data overlay and the video is now gone from the video list. Iphone 5 GPS Suite

I assume you transferred the original video to the PC - which doesn't come with an overlay. To get a video with overlay, you need to use Lap List ‣ any lap to overlay ‣ Video / Export. This will create a new video in your Photos app you can distribute. For details on video file handling, please have a look into Video Documentation available from www.gps-laptimer.de/documentation
