Have you killed GoPro’s app? I have no option to test the White, so I can’t say if it is a handling issue or an incompatibility. In case you want me to have a deeper look into this, you can join the LapTimer v23 beta and run some tests.

I have tried it with and without the GoPro app open. and it still doesn't work.

I'd be happy to try the beta if it helps with syncing my GoPro. Thanks!

I had to turn off mobile data in order for Harry's to connect to the GoPro.

Hmm that’s a bit annoying. Maybe I should get a second hand Hero 5 Black instead.

it may just be my phone. I don't think it's an issue with the app. I use a pixel 2.

I´m using GP7 and Galaxy S9. If I want to use GoPro, I need to manually connect to camera WiFi, then HLT will see it and can control it.

I have been trying for the past two days to get my hero 7 connected. I followed the instructions, made sure i connected to the hero 7 wifi, shows connected under settings (green), Selected hero7 then tried5 and 6. The gopro screen shows that its recording but when i look at the lap list all the laps show Preview [ off-line} . When I try to export I get "invalid master video".

Hello,

That’s as expected. When remote controlling a H7, LapTimer will start and stop it and store sync information. The video recorded by the GoPro is going to the GoPro SD card. To overlay it on your smartphone, you need to make the video available on the smartphone (transfer it), and assign the video to the placeholder shown as OFFLINE video. You can find instructions and options in Video Documentation available from www.gps-laptimer.de/documentation.
