Post by GreenPeter »

Hi,

I'm about to buy the new Hero7 Black, is it supported by the Laptimer?

Works fine as Hero6. At first time reports no camera found but you then here the camera beep as it makes connection then works fine showing as Hero6.

Not tested, but should work by selecting either the HERO 6 BE or HERO 2018 setting. Once you have tested it, please let us know.

I just bought a hero 7 white. I connected to it on wifi and tried every GoPro option and none of them will work. I click video and it always says no external cam connected.

The best bet is using the HERO 2018 setting for the White. As there are so many potential reasons a connection may not be made, I'd suggest to study the step-by-step description on connection external action cam in Video Documentation available on www.gps-laptimer.de/documentation. Chances are good it is not a problem with the model selection but something completely different.

Oops, you are right, it is missing in the Android version... You can use the LCD option instead. There are all the so called "GoPro budget line" cams behaving similar. The only difference between the settings is about the naming.

I've read the documentation. I've connected to the GoPro hero 7 white with WiFi, then under timer->video, it still gives me no external cam connected.
