Using LapTimer with the Dual XGPS 160 loging function

Post by deltav_42 »

I am considering buying Lap Timer and a Dual XGPS 160 for use with my motorcycle at track days. I am not particularly keen on having my phone in my leathers during a session so my intention is to use the logging function in the Dual XGPS 160 to record my laps and after the session, offload and review the data with LT. Is this possible? Will LT be capable of loading the log from the 160 and displaying the data as if I ran the session with the phone?
Thanks,
Steve

The XGPS logs data to KML. While the process you describe works for VBO and GPX files, KML is an export format only currently. You may find some converter from KML to GPX and try the path.
