Laptimer, metadata and video

Post by Orfish »

Hi,

september last year I did a trackway, set my best lap, and then removed the videos to save place on my iPhone.

Yesterday, went on the same track, and now would like to export videos with metadata and PIP best lap of September (with a different car, I should mention)

I didn't re-import the best lap video of September in the first place, and could have video PIP with metadata (speed, rpm, ...), but after re-importing the video and setting it as the ref, I lost the metadata...any idea ???

thanks in advance....

What do you mean by "lost metadata"? Are you missing the gauges overlaid to the video?

Either OBD overlays are disabled (check Lap List ‣ your lap ‣ Video / Export ‣ Overlay Configuration ‣ OBD (for iOS, this is on the second page), or your lap has no OBD data stored.

I see, so I have videos with OBD datas that are on, and if I go back to original because I want to change the ref lap / pip, then I cannot export with OBD datas...

hadn't finished editing my post: on the pic below, I cannot choose OBD, that is the problem, once I returned to original

You can't tap Standard or Prolonge? What happens?

Running the Overlay should add OBD gauges with this settings.
