iPhone 7+ shaky image

Post by swbca3691 »

I usually use an Galaxy S5 or S7 and have a stable video. I tried a friend's iPhone 7+ on the same car, same track, same mount and the video was too shaky to view. I was using the rock-solid Logitech magnetic mount with the magnetic coupler stuck directly to the phone. (not attached to a case)

The iPhone weighs a little more but I don't think that would flex the mount that much more and this mount is very solid.

Anybody have any ideas ?

Frequently discussed ;-) The iPhone 7Plus has an optical image stabilization that cannot be fixed by software. This means you get quite some vibrations. Adding a magnet to the outside locks the movement but may damage the phone.
