Found the problem. Actually not device specific, but depending on former video operations. Once a video recording using the internal cam has been performed, all recordings using "external cam only" mode will work. In case the internal video has not been used since the app start, "external cam only" skips the start.

Problem will be fixed for LapTimer v21.0.7. I plan to make it available soon.
