AutoX workflow

Just started autocrossing again after a 20 year hiatus and was looking for suggestions to best leverage HLT 1) between runs, and 2) after the event.
I have an iPhone 7+ with a RAM suction mount, and a GoPro Hero5 Black that I can mount on the car with the suction mount or inside with a RAM mount between the seats ('12 Porsche Cayman R).
I used it this past weekend at a PCA event but, by my botched video / data, don't have a good handle on the best way to put it together.
Any suggestions?
