AIM has published code on extracting the new XRK format, someone might be able to use this to reverse the process and produce XRK files, looks like they built a dll to extract/export to matlab
the aim analysis software can load xrk for analysis just like the older drk format, I've not dug into this yet but someone might find it helpful
