Car Settings

Hi,
I am using the lap timer for some weeks and love it. I have spent some time, to specify two cars (Ford Fiesta and BMW M3).
Because this is an time intensive task and I think not easy to get all information for all cars, I would like to share these car setups.
Is there a public car settings database? If not: would it not be a good idea?
It would be great to upload/download car setups just like we can do that with tracks.
Greetings,
Klaus

Yes, this will be available soon. LapTimer v20 adds submission / certification of vehicle definitions. Once you complete a vehicle with all details, LapTimer will prompt you an ask if your want to contribute the definition created. In case you have not been prompted
you have probably not entered the car's make / model / year shown when pressing the Description row in Vehicle Details.
For v20 we collect that data (we have more than 100 submissions already) and will run some QA on it / learn from it. For the next bigger release (probably v20.1) autocompletion will be added. We have not added both steps at a time because we need a relevant base before the autocompletion makes sense.

Hi,
thanks for the quick reply. Unbelievable... but I have totaly missed to enter the maximum number of revolutions on both cars...
No i am getting the prompt to send the data, but this ends with an error, that I should check my internet connection.

This means LapTimer can't connect to the server.

Hi,
everything worked fine now. Perhaps LapTimer was not able to connect through our company firewall.
