The other day I was using HLT at an autocross and it kept triggering as I stopped at the staging line, before I took off for the starting line. Usually, I pressed "cancel" the timer would start again after I started moving but not always. Is there a setting to make this work better? I had detection corridor set as narrow.

Setting for autocross start
Re: Setting for autocross start
Are you sure you had no triggers set accidentally? LapTimer doesn't trigger at low speeds at all except when using standing go triggers... You may select the AX track set generated and use the Certify function available to send the track definition to me. Please exchange the mail address by Harry@gps-laptimer.de (i.e. not Tracks@) and add a not it is about AX triggering / forum. To keep triggers from firing when passed the wring direction (e.g. if the finish is located near by the starting area), please add a driving direction to the trigger. Once defined, LapTimer will ignore it in case it is passed the wrong way.
Finally, please read the Triggers documentation available from www.gps-laptimer.de/documentation
