On V14.2 there is a new option of obd speed adjustment
I was wondering how it works

The OBD Speed Multplier is a simply factor that is multiplied to incoming OBD wheel speeds. So if you OBD record 100 km/h when GPS says 120 km/h, set this multiplier to "1.2" to get the same values both in in the display and in your recordings.

MULTIPLIER = GPS SPEED MEASURED / OBD SPEED MEASURED
OBD SPEED RECORDED = MULTIPLIER * OBD SPEED MEASURED

Please note that this multiplier is applied while recording, there is no option in LapTimer to apply this factor after the fact.
