What are good settings for the phone while you are on the track? I don't want sound or vibrations so I can turn them off. I'd like to not get and notifications for texts or phone calls. I don't want the screen to bring anything up other than the lap timer information.

If you don't need the online functionality...simply take out your sim card.

I have Verizon , so no sim card otherwise that is exactly what I want. I'll just turn off everything I can think of. I just dont want any distractions. Maybe once I start lap time I'll dim my screen if I have time. I doubt I'll even notice anything other than the tach and shift light. Can't wait.

Just in case: flight mode won't help, since it also turns off the location service. Also locking the screen will prevent laptimer from working in video mode. As far as I remember the laptimer will work in non video mode with screen locked.
