Make GPS the default for accelerometer
Re: Make GPS the default for accelerometer
Okay thanks. I'll take a look at that.
Re: Make GPS the default for accelerometer
Okay just got to playing with this again. I see now how nearly level it needs to be mounted for the acceleration to reach zero. Is there no way to set this up so the device is closer to vertical. Say 15degrees of tilt. This way I can see my lap times each lap. With it at 70degrees it's facing the sky and there is no way I can see it. At 15-20 degrees it would be similar to the tilt of most bikes instrument so it could be mounted near them where it's visible.
Re: Make GPS the default for accelerometer
Please use individual calibration in this case. It will measure tilt while standing still and adjust acceleration measurements accordingly. I have uploaded a short paper on acceleration handling yesterday, it is available from www.gps-laptimer.de/documentation

Forgot to say: please use the lock function once you have a good setup. It can be cumbersome to get a got individual calibration every time you use LapTimer. This item is described in "Acceleration Handling" too.

Oh, and I meant to post a photo of my mounting setup earlier.
