Offline export (circuit tool or csv)

Post by Neoraptor »

Hello,

I would like to know how to export session data (csv or circuit tool) when there is no connectivity (foreign country for example).
Is it possible to retrieve this data through itunes? or is there another way?

Also, I would love to see AEMData / GEMS GDA (software is free : http://www.aemelectronics.com/engine-ma ... ftware-78/) supported. It is really great for PC analysis, and in combination to HLT, very powerful !!

To import data from HLT csv, you need :
* convert row hhmmss.000 to seconds and put it in the first place
* Have only float data (no text)
* import this csv data to DLog99 (their old software that support csv import : http://www.gems.co.uk/?content=pages&id ... -downloads)
* open the project with AEMData

So, would it be possible to have the custom csv export for GEMS? It would be much easier if it was included into HLT rather than to do it manually.
I am also a developper, I can write an export module in Objective C / C++ if you give me the interface details

Just came across the GEMS data Analysis tools and right away they seem a lot better / faster than Circuit Tools.
I also came across several instructions on how to change CSV data from other logging tools, importing it with GEMS old software DLOG99 to finally open it in their newest tool.
Looking for it here, I found this thread and wondered if it ever got any attention and if an implementation is possible or not.
With Motec i2 out of the race, this really looks like a nice alternative.

Any file format descriptions? The software looks nice and installs without problems.

It looks like there's more to it than simply converting the time column. I found this script that converts RaceCapture/Pro CSV files to a format that can be imported into DLOG99. You then save the project in the GEMS format, .stf, and import that into GEMS.
