Cursor in Chart view

Post by gplracerx »

I guess this has been there since the first version 17 or even earlier, but I just discovered it.

What you're looking at is the speed plot of a segment of an autocross run. The red line is my co-driver's best lap and the black line is my best lap. This lets me see that most of the 2.3 second difference between the runs was a mistake in one turn. I already knew I had a problem there, but I didn't realize how much difference it made. This is absolutely the coolest thing since sliced bread. Not only is there an arrow on the course map that corresponds to the vertical cursor, but the part of the course covered by the expanded chart is highlighted too. Too bad these were the last runs for each of us. Not to mention that I didn't discover the feature until I got back home.

Thanks Harry.

Is only with the Grand Prix version? I don't get the cursor in my Petrolhead version.

Thanks,

Yes, that's a Grand Prix feature.

Off topic, but are there any docs or posts that illustrate the additional data analysis features added in the GP version upgrade?
