Hallo Harry,
I did today a video lap. Did then the overlay on the iPhone and it can be seen very well on the iPhone.
When I tried to transfer it to my windows PC, it couldn't do that. The final file size on the PC was 0.
I installed then the iExplorer 3 and tried to transfer with it, but only 218,240 KB of the 1,32 GB were transferred.
I have no idea, what else I can do.
Here my versions:
iPhone 4S
iOS version 5.1.1 (9B206)
LapTimer v16.6 Professional
Windows XP SP3
Best regards,
Georg
Video with overlays not copied to PC
Re: Video with overlays not copied to PC
Hi Georg,
The video shown in the snapshot is the raw video - not the overlaid one. Usually you generate overlays for all laps you like and delete the raw video afterwards to create space again. In case your iTunes is configured correctly, it should sync the overlaid video however. Thes overlaid videos are in the Photo library, not in LapTimer's documents folder.

Re: Video with overlays not copied to PC
Hallo Harry,
thank you for the fast reply.
Hmm, I did only one lap and I did the overlay.
In Windows the iPhone videos are shown in an external device, and I see there the full size 1,59 GB.
But the copy does not copy anything, it waits for about 3 minutes and then creates the file with 0 size at the target position.
It might be not a laptimer problem, but I think, there is something wrong with the file.
I also use on the iPhone the app "SamsungTV", which allows me via Zappo TV to view the iPhone videos on my Samsung TV (without apple TV). All my videos are well displayed with this app, just the overlay video not.
I attach again 3 hardcopies of the files:
Here is the Video in the Photos folder: Here is it in iExplorer: And here the results, after copying with iExplorer (the windows file explorer always generates a file with the size of 0). Greetings,
Georg

Re: Video with overlays not copied to PC
Hello Harry,
I know the reason, why it didn't work.
It is Windows XP. I found some hints in the Internet, that XP has problems copying big files.
I then used my sons Vista PC and could copy the file easily.
Sorry for disturbance.
Best regards,
Georg
