Lap with ODB data in video

Post by lisocayman »

Harry here is a video from Thunderhill. http://youtu.be/r3W235fAKpo as you can see there is a delay with the ODB data. The cayman ODB rate is 2 HZ, is the delay being caused because I'm using the built in GPS at 1HZ? or is this something I'll just need to live with even if I get an external 5HZ GPS?

Hi,

You need to adjust the delays from the sensors. LapTimer uses some defaults, but they do not fit always. Please send a CSV export of exactly that lap and I will calculate the delay you need the next time. Please write down the current delay settings to. You can find them in LapTimer -> Settings -> Expert Settings -> Sensor Delays. Please use my email address Harry@gps-laptimer.de
