after crash? behavior (of device!)

Help on issues you run into with LapTimer; in case you have a question on how to use LapTimer, use the forum "Using LapTimer" instead

after crash? behavior (of device!)

Post by ChuckMcCoy »

Chuck in Dallas again, looked at settings and the is something about crash detection, and if fact my final lap was 2 full spins, the very last part of which was in the dirt. Did that invoke "crash detection". Seems like it easily could/would. And that lap, or at least most of it....pit in is prior to start/finish.

What did I do wrong to not capture thast data and is this related to my other post tonight about not getting detiled data on any lap from that session.

Useful comments appreciated!

Hi,

So I understand you didn't finish the start / finish line and instead went into the pits (after the spins)? LT records full laps only, it is no classic data logger. I assume you pressed 'Cancel' once you left the track - which is the necessary and usual way to finalize a session. This cancelation will purge the incomplete recording.
