- erratic/ fluctuating data: speed/ RPM/ pedals/ gears
- why is reference sector picking up vid of me leaving pits?
Laptimer GrandPrix v24.5 with iPhone 13 pro, IOS15, internal camera, internal GPS, OBDLINK MX+
Overlay graphics not working as expected
Re: Overlay graphics not working as expected
Hello,
Data seems to be ahead of video. As a result, the speed shown is looking odd. Please check whether all of your sessions show this gap. In this case, you need to adjust the video delay expert setting (see red section of FAQ below). In case this occurs for a single session / video only, please adjust the sync as described in this FAQ: viewtopic.php?f=39&t=4940
I haven't checked RPM, pedals, gears so far, please recheck once you have adjusted the sync. Please keep in mind that brake pedal and gear display requires you to customize your vehicle details. For brake pedal, these are front surface, cD, weight, for gears these are drive and gear ratios, tire sizes, drive axle.
On the reference video: please make yourself familiar with LapTimer's concept of reference laps first. By default, the reference lap is the fastest lap performed (on this track). Provided you use LapTimer GP, this reference lap has a video, and you have selected the reference video option in Overlay Configuration, LapTimer will show the reference lap in the top right. For your situation, it looks like the reference lap is not detected correctly. Please check for the lap overlaid - the reference lap identified is listed in the Lap's Details. Navigate to this reference lap and check what is wrong (maybe some invalid lap you want to delete). In case you do not want to dive into this for now, turn off the reference video overlay in Overlay Configuration. Swipe to the second page to find this option.
