Post by mitchyw »

Hi team. OBDLINk MX+ connected to iPhone 13 pro running IOS 15.3.1

LapTimer recognizes this is connected though has flagged poor update rate.

How can I rectify this?

Hello,

The sensor is connected, but fails negotiating a working bus protocol. To work around, please identify the protocol and set it as the default in LapTimer's Expert Settings / OBD Tweak. Most modern cars us the CAN 11/500 protocol. You can use the OBDLink app too to identify the protocol. The OBDLink app uses a different approach to connect - which is more robust.
