Harry's GPS Suite Forum

Im trying to connect an external cam in question the Hero 8. I can get it to connect but I need to go to the GoPro app, Kill it, then Harry's will recognize it. It seems like a lot of work to get it to work, for now it is not a big deal, but I am seeing if there is a simpler way, as the GoPro forums are terrible for help.

The cam is a so called “exclusive resource”, it can be controlled by one connection only. Like most apps, GoPro’s app is a bad citizen and keeps the connection even when sent to background. This blocks access for LapTimer. The other way around is no issues because LapTimer will release the HERO when sent to background.
