ODB and GPS data displayed on video not accurate

Post by Onclebat »

Hi Everyone,

First of all thanks for this lap for car lovers, that’s just awesome.

I’m new using Harry’s Lap Timer, this app seems to have an incredible potential but for beginners (like me) it’s a little bit hard to configure at the first time.

As I’m a noob, I bought recommended accesories to work with the app.
Unfortunately I must have done some mistakes configuring my settings.

As you can see in this video, datas are alsmot all etatic. I search on the internet to find all the data I entered so I guess they were correct...

If you have any suggestions it would be great. Thank you.

I cannot see a track layout? What do you see when selecting the lap from Lap List, scroll down to Data Recording and Preview?

It looks like the phone is mounted directly under the roof (please compare to illustration#3 in Quick Reference)? It is well possible you get no GPS data here. Thisbin yurn means OBD and other channels are not stored either.
