Video and data no longer work together

HLT working fine until this year on my iPhone 5s using internal camera. Now if I record video, I have no lap data when I go to lap analysis. If I turn off video, I get some lap data but it is not complete. I do I get this working again?

Do you use the Video View (Preview) while driving? Or do you return to Timer View? And do you use the internal GPS? From what you describe, this is probably a signal for a system overload. The 5S is quite dated now, and we will run into limitation sooner or later. Take care you have no background activities running when using LapTimer. The problem may be an issue with the media library too. Try to housekeep photos and videos in your Photo app. A restart will both remove apps running in background and reset media library, so this is worth a try.
