Kindle usage

Post by MKV_Racer »

I am trying to setup a kindle fire hd 10 to use and I continuously get an error about location services. I have verified they are on and laptimer has permission. Is this device even compatible? Thoughts?? :|

Kindles do not have GPS. They derive a rough location from WiFis / mobile cells around but that’s really not precise enough to be of any use on track. So no, Kindles are not supported. You can try adding an external GPS, but I cannot guarantee anything. These devices are designed for a different purpose than standard tablets or smartphones.
