Rookie Edition and ODB data?

Post by JonMad »

Hi,

I downloaded GPS/OBD Buddy and HLT Rookie Edition and have them running on my iPhone SE.
This page http://gps-laptimer.de/productssays Rookie edition supports external OBD sensors.

I have a TOWLON BLTE sensor.
GPS/OBD Buddy shows my Engine data but in Lap Timer, although the OBD sensor is shown as connected, it says Engine data is not available in this version, which isn't what your product page says.

Help! :)

Thanks,
Jon

Rookie connects to OBD adapters and records OBD data. Viewing live data is limited compared to Petrolhead or Buddy with the Engine feature added. Both have the full Engine View enabled which Rookie has not. To watch a small set of OBD data in Rookie, change to GPS View. It will show RPM and one more data field in the bottom row. To get the full Engine View, please upgrade to Petrolhead from Administration / Add-ons / Petrolhead Upgrade.
