Manually starting video recording from the "Engine" submenu

Post by Cleggmeister »

Hi folks,

I really only use HLT as a dashcam during the winter and I always use the "manual record" function on my journeys. I can only start a recording when in the "Timer" or "Speedo" view (Android). I'd love to have the "Engine" data displaying in real time as well as being able to manually record a video with overlay - can I do this? Or can I make HLT start a recording when I start moving maybe?

Many thanks,

Cleggy and his Twingo RS133 :)

Hi,

That's not supported currently. Once I get the new Dashboard View available (i.e. a replacement for a car dashboard including some timing option), that will probably a solution for you. It will have less engine information compared to Engine View, but will be more relevant for your type of operation?
