Sound notifications - language issue

Post by Mateusz »

There seem to be a funny bug in the localised version of lap time sound notification on iOS. The lady speaks numbers in Polish (default language of iOS in my case) and reads English "minutes" and "seconds" with a distinct Polish pronounciation. I imagine the same problem applies to other cases were there is a conflict between LapTimer locale and iOS system locale.

Yes, that is kind of expected. LapTimer comes with a small set of languages and selects the text spoken from these localizations. iOS in turn receives this text to speak in the language the user prefers - which may by a different language than the selected localization.
