Linking PIP videos

Post by llan981 »

My master is from IPhone facing me and the Picture in Picture is the gopro. I done this 1000's times before. I click offline icon on a specific lap and then I would link the video. Now I get :Error, cannot find video, it has probably moved to another place or deleted. Offline videos need to be transferred.....

I am looking at gopro videos in the proper HLT folder along with the laptimercapture videos

I am running HLT21.1 with IOS11.0.2

Have you Re-Linked the video? This needs to be done once you have transferred the GoPro video to your smartphone. Goto Lap List ‣ a lap and select the video placeholder showing OFFLINE. Press Re-Link and select the video from the list.

It does not get that far where it allows me to link

Here's what happens:
1) Actually, my main video is displayed as it is laptimer captured.
2) I depress the picture in picture and I immediately get, "Error, cannot find video, it has probably moved to another place or deleted."
3) I close the error window with "OK"
4) I loose the main video and the picture and picture video boxes and give me just one box VIDEO - OFFLINE.

Thanks. The order of dialogs sent is Lap List ‣ Lap #76 (with video+offline) ‣ Error message ‣ Video Details(!). So the last dialog is one level below the one with the two videos and showing details of the OFFLINE placeholder selected. Scroll to this dialogs bottom and you should see the Re-Link button.

Harry,

It worked but this is slightly different from recent V.21 versions. I recall when you have to relink a P-N-P you just press icon and presented with next screen to relink and not the error message. In any case, happy problem solved but slightly confusing.
