Android: app stuck at less than 10% overlay

Hi,
I'm trying to do an overlay of 1 lap, it's less than 2 mins video, with main video recorded from Sony HDR-AS30V and PiP from internal front camera.
The phone is a Lenovo Moto Z Play, the app is not able to complete the task. I've tried several times, always stuck at 7 - 11%. It says Heap: 19.00 MB, Speed x1.7 or similar values.
Is there some tweak to make it finish the job?
