Issue with playback

When I edit videos with data overlay and use the EXPORT function in HLT, all is fine and I can export my video to facebook. But when you do that the image quality is less than ideal. So instead, I take the raw file generated on the local storage of my phone (MPEG-4 MOVIE extension) and import it into my computer but I cannot open it. I have tried WMP, VLC and QuickTime, but none of them are able to playback the file. Do we need a special codec?

Try software based encoding (Expert Setting) for a high quality (but slower) alternative.
File recorded are pretty standard MP4 files - check if you transferred it without conversion or use a different player.
