Hi Harry,

i would like ask you if you have some report about video and sound doesnt sync or if you know some solution what i can do for correct working.
There you can see my problem, sound is ahead from video:

The problem i observed in overlay and raw video as well. Standard videos from my phone doesnt have problem with sync video and sound.

I have Galaxy S8+ with Android 7.0 with last version of your app 21.0.9

As discussed by email, please try turning off LapTimer's Beep sound. It looks like the S8 cannot record video and audio with audio outputs at the same time - at least not without getting an audio sync problem.

Hi Harry, I'm now using the Samsung S8 and appear to have the same problem sound not being in sync. I've tried turning off the beeps but I still have the same issue. Is there anything else I can try? I'm going to the Nürburgring next week so hoping to get it fixed before then if possible!

Was gutted after when I checked the recordings and and found out that sound and video was not in sync at all.

Yes, looks like a problem with the S8 video recording engine. I have found some issues with S8 audio recording on the net, although they were not precisely the same as reported here. What you can do is report your issue to Samsung. This will raise their priority to stabilize recording for an upcoming OS update. I do not see I can do anything here currently.

Hello guys. I went all summer with a S4 and had no problems last track day of the year i got the S8 and had the same video - audio sync problems.
I was just wondering if anything changed over the last couple of months . Thank you cheers !

So what is the solution if you have an S8? Using an external recording device (i.e. GoPro) fix the issue?

Same issue with S8, very annoying.

Using an external GoPro to capture video and audio connected to the S8, does this solve the issue?

Yes, external cams should work. It is a problem with the S8 recording.
