GPS issues

Post by Meritbean »

We have tried to get the Grand Prix lap timer working but had problems. We got a "no gps position available" message. We are using a 4.3 Android sm-s766c and it pairs and connects with the xgps160 dual antenna we bought. We have enabled the Mock gps provider, enabled the reconnect feature, as well as the Use Insecure Connection feature, but we still get the same message. The phone is set to allow access to my location, and use gps satellites. I'm not exactly tech-savvy and would appreciate any help so we can use it at Watkins Glen this weekend.
Thanks!

This is the FAQ: viewtopic.php?f=39&t=2463

Please remove / kill the GPS Helper app, it will access the device and generate conflicts with LapTimer direct access.
