Orientation does not rotate with phone... help?

Hi,
I'm using Harry's in my track/race car. I have it oriented horizontally for proper video perspective (wider than high). Neither the interface nor the accelerometer readings rotate however, leaving me with meaningless lateral readings (and a weird interface).
iPhone 6S with latest iOS.
Can anyone help me understand why and fix it? It has worked properly before....
