CSV export bug

Post by pentavalle »

Hi,
I just started motorbike season using LapTimer but when I exported session data in CSV format to use in RaceRender for overlay I found something strange.
Phone shows lap 3 time as 02:39.89, but in CSV file it's shown as 02:36.89, below there's an extract of exported data:

LapTimerDB.csv
157,03-APR-17,09:09:58.00,02:39.89,5.181600,3.219697,2,1,00:00.00,00:00.00,00:00.00,00:00.00,00:00.00,00:00.00,00:00.00,00:00.00,"",Me

LapTimerGPSRecDB.csv
128283,157,03-APR-17,07:12:37.49,156.890000,43.997597,11.371511,224.200000,139.311421,260.400000,854.330710,25.1,0,3,8,1.240000,3.7,5.181600,3.219697,0,0.16,-0.39,9.100000,0,0.000000,0.000000,0.000000,0.000000,0,0.000000,0.000000,0.000000,0.000000,0.000000
128284,158,03-APR-17,07:12:37.49,0.000000,43.997597,11.371511,224.200000,139.311421,260.400000,854.330710,25.1,0,3,8,1.240000,3.7,0.000000,0.000000,0,0.16,-0.39,9.100000,0,0.000000,0.000000,0.000000,0.000000,0,0.000000,0.000000,0.000000,0.000000,0.000000

Exported file was too large to upload in post, here's the link:

Can you confirm the bug?

Thanks

The CSV extract quoted shows 02:39.89 - the same value you say is shown on your phone: "Phone shows lap 3 time as 02:39.89, but..."? In case you see different values in LapTimer user interface and CSV, chances are very high different laps are compared. No bug.

Maybe I'm wrong but while LapTimerDB.csv shows 2.39.89 for lap 157, in LapTimerGPSRecDB.csv last data for that lap shows a TIME_LAP of 156.890000 seconds, so 2.36.89, that's why RaceRender shows a time of 3 seconds lower. When I render the overlay, timing for lap 155 and 156 is perfect, but video reach finish line of track 3 seconds later than indicated by GPS timing.

The TIME_LAP of the last fix should match the lap time. Sometimes it is +- 1 hundred second, but not more. In case a recording is incomplete, inconsistencies can happen. Please run a Check Data from Databases in this case. Many problems are fixed when running this routine.

Already tried many times but it shows there are no problems. It's the first time I have a problem like this.

Anyway, it is a data problem, no issue with the export. The export does no calculations but simply exports what is on the database.
