I updated my xgps 160 from firmware version 1.4.1 to 2.4.1 It was of no help, it was still unable to log on to satellites. So I decided to update to the beta version 2.4.5 and now it's working fine, finally with a steady GPS indicator green.

I've read through the threads. I am just frustrated my XGPS160 is not working since upgrade to newer version. For avoidance of doubt, which versions work (downgrade or beta)?

The 2.4.5 beta seems to be working for me now.
Will get a real test this weekend at the track.

Downgrading just did not seem to work for me errors with COM ports and other anomoloes. I just upgraded tonight to 2.4.8 on my XGPS160 and hope for the best at Watkins Glen this weekend.

There's a 2.4.8 version now?
2.4.5 worked fine for me at Calabogie last weekend.
I too had problems downgrading with COM port issues. I think I ended up having to use an older version of the firmware upgrade program.
However, I ended up going to 2.4.5 and it's been working fine so far.

1.5.1 works fine for me. I don't consider it a downgrade.

Just confirming, used 2.4.8 for last 3 days at track and all functioned as expected.

Issue is back:

No XGPS160 usage with iPhone 8+ and iOS 11.2.6

In iPhone 6+ with same iOS it works perfectly

Also the Skypro App works only on the 6 not the 8

Need to update to iOS 11.3 now, bit afraid that I then have issues on both phones....
