Just announced, but it will take some more time until the feature can be used in production versions.

Yes, it is quite delayed... But the good news is that LapTimer v22 should get available end of this or latest next week. :-)

I now have version 22, do I need to do anything special to get this to work?

v22 sets most settings for max speed automatically now. This however, applies to CAN based cars. CAN allows a number of tweaks not available for older bus types.

The one thing you can try is limiting ECU communication to the engine control unit. Set the “ECUs Adressed” Expert Setting to “ECM”.

Please wait for Buddy v22 release and follow instructions in the "Debugging OBD" FAQ (see FAQ forum section).
