That works for the future. IS there anyway to fix the video I already have?

Yes, that's in the thread on this topic that actually exists in parallel to this one. ;-)

I used the suggested Rotate and Flip App and the rotated video (stored as a .mov file) does show up in the Camera Roll section. However, no option to re-link is given. How do I go from here?

The Re-Link option is available while in a lap context. This means you select a lap from Lap List first. It will show the upside down video. Touch the preview and find the Re-Link option. Select the corrected video and you are ready for the overlay from Lap Details.

Hi,

I'm using v 20.1.4. I did a track event over the weekend with an Iphone 6S. I thought I had figured it out by using the phone in one way in terms of landscape orientation but unfortunately the first day things were fine but the second day all of a sudden I got an upside down video again even though the preview looked fine. Is this still a bug or is it me doing something wrong?

Thanks for this absolute great app. It is unbelievable what you have been able to put together and make professional data logging available for an occasional track driver.

Regards, Jan

Well, actually everything not working correctly is a bug. ;-)
It would be helpful to understand the precise way you handle the phone, or could describe a way to reproduce the issue. I tested everything I can hink of more than once, but there are probably other use cases...

Thanks Harry, of course I do not remember exactly what I did between sessions. Did I watch a video, what orientation did I use, etc. I will try to keep track of it next time. I also have not been able to reproduce it. The way to fix it is to export to the photo library, use the "Rotate & Flip" app and re link the video. That works. However, I prefer to keep my raw footage within the app. I think the only way to do that is connect the phone to a computer and use itunes to move the file back in the laptimer repository.

It is not the place but my preference for development would be to make it easier to transfer all data and video to my Ipad Pro after a session so you have a larger screen to analyze your laps. We should be able to use airdrop for the video or so but because the video is in a separate repository I cannot. Apple TV support would also help but my preference would be to use an Ipad for analysis and Iphone for capturing data and video.

If I make any progress in reproducing the upside down video I will come back to you.

Thanks, Jan

I’m using v23.0.1. I don’t see a Re-Link option.

Two cams in an icon. One solid, the other transparent.
