Dear Forum,
I realized that the acceleration/deceleration map view on my recorded lap was changed after I closed and opened the program a few times. Unfortunately this is my reference lap. Is there a way to restore the correct data?
Warm regards
J

Re: Data in recorded lap changed
Is this the same lap you are looking into? Data for a lap recorded should actually never change, maybe there is an issue with you database... You may run "Check Data" from the bottom of Lap List to repair some common issues. To verify a lap and its GPS / ACCEL data match, please compare the last distance (c axis) value in Charts with the overall distance row in Lap Details.

Re: Data in recorded lap changed
Dear Harry,
Yes, this is exactly the same lap file. I made a screenshot directly after driving to share and made the second screenshot of the same lap once I recognized the problem.
Going into the Lap Details (Datenaufzeichnung > Diagramme > Längsbeschleunigung) Acceleration and decelaration are also mixed up. You can see me accelerating into the corner and then braking out of it.
I did run the "Check Data" but no errors were found.
I do nut understand what you are pointing out with "To verify a lap and its GPS / ACCEL data match, please compare the last distance (c axis) value in Charts with the overall distance row in Lap Details".
Would you mind explaining again?
Warm regards

Re: Data in recorded lap changed
Maybe it is easier you just export this single lap to .hlptrl and send it to me? I will check.

Re: Data in recorded lap changed
Dear Harry,
Thanks for the kind support. However, I would also be grateful for a brief explanation on what I should check as I know that I don't utilize the full potential of your software yet. I know you are busy so if the explanation takes too long, don't bother.
Warm regards
Jarob

Re: Data in recorded lap changed
Hi,
The recording is fine, lap information and data recordings match perfectly. Background: LapTimer records lap and data into two different tables - linked by a lap index (foreign key for database specialists). The length of the lap (distance) is stored with lap data - even if data recordings are purged. Data recordings have the distance from start stored in every data point saved. This distance from start is shown in the charts as x-axis. See the two snapshots attached to see the two number to compare. In you case, the overall distance and the distance of the last data position are precisely the same (decimetre accuracy), which is a 99.99% indicator data and laps are not shifted but are fine. - Harry

Ok, thanks.
I will keep an eye on this for the future. If the problem occurs again I will update the post.
