Harry,
Handbrake for Windows does not have the option of a .mov container in the GUI, or at least I haven't found it. MPEG Streamclip ( http://www.squared5.com/svideo/mpeg-streamclip-win.html ) does. MPEG Streamclip requires that Quicktime be installed on the computer.

Re: Master Video Invalid Error when changing video
Yes , you can't use the iPhone profile from Handbrake together with a .mov container. But I don't think it's the container causing the problems...I've been using 1080p 30fps .mp4 videos from a Sony action cam with no problems at all in Laptimer, I don't even have to recode those videos in my case. I still think it's a recoding issue.

So do I. I've never had a problem using an .mp4 container if I choose the correct settings for recoding.I still think it's a recoding issue.

@jtt777:
If you like, you could upload your raw video file from the GoPro to my cloud server so I can give it a try and report back. I just made this public folder:

Re: Master Video Invalid Error when changing video
I didn't need to convert from my gopro? I just did the following:
1. copy mp4 from gopro to your computer.
2. download i-funbox classic ( http://dl.i-funbox.com/ifunbox_classic.zip ) extract, and run.
3. make sure phone is connected.
4. Browse to user apps - harry laptimer - documents
5. Click copy from PC - browse to the gopro mp4 and will copy across.
6. Go into harrys laptimer, click on relink, and the gopro mp4 will now show with a red ! next to it, click on link and done

Just to complete your info: what video mode did you use on the GoPro. That is probably making the difference.xps911 wrote:I didn't need to convert from my gopro? I just did the following:

Re: Master Video Invalid Error when changing video
thanks for all the replies everyone. i was using 1080p @ 30 FPS and i didn't have any issues with that in the past.
I think i actually found the problem. When i used handbrake to convert, i unchecked the box for "large file size compatable" or something similar to that. After I did that it seems to work just fine.
Thanks everyone, i guess it is a little sensitive to the type of video file. BTW, i did not need to make it into an MOV, it worked okay as an MP4.
