MultiCam Discovering Cameras in other Cars

Post by nikgrove@mac.com »

Hi Harry,

Good news bad news situation. I was lining up in the assembly area for my last race and you could tell that HLT is really starting to become popular because when I turned on MultiCam it picked up cameras from another car in the assembly area!!

Is there any way to restrict the MultiCam setup so it only looks at my cameras?

If not I guess this is going to increasingly become a problem as more and more people start using the app - so maybe something we could get in a future release?

Cheers!

So far, LapTimer auto connects to nearby MultiCam apps. That is mainly for convenience - especially because car bodies usually shield BT communication significantly. But you are right, once all cars run LapTimer :-D I need to enable the usual confirmation dialogs...
